Recent Firings

This is a chronicle of my recent firings. I fire mostly in soda gas kiln in Glen Echo Pottery and occasionally in wood/salt kiln in Baltimore Clayworks and once in a wood kiln in Fortune Island Pottery, Berryville, VA. I usually fire with the same group of 6 people, so the pictures below may also show pots of my fellow potters: Marsha Slater, Cindy Deitch, Yang-ja Wickner, Mike Poness, Joe Savage, Brenda Llewellyn and others. This gallery illustrates the process of firing, from loading, through firing, to unloading and vignettes of finished pots.
